Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Books Releasing In the First Half of 2022. While one of my goals this year is to read the books I already own, I can’t help feeling excited about a bunch of new releases that will be coming my way too!
My 10 most anticipated new releases for the first half of 2022 are:

- Where the Drowned Girls Go (Wayward Children, #7) by Seanan McGuire (1/4 — my copy arrives today!)
- An Impossible Imposter (Veronica Speedwell, #7) by Deanna Raybourn (2/14)
- One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle (3/1)
- Spelunking Through Hell (Incryptids, #11) by Seanan McGuire (3/1)
- The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi (3/15)
- Reputation by Lex Croucher (4/5)
- The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth (4/5)
- To Marry and to Meddle (The Regency Vows, #3) by Martha Waters (4/5)
- Book of Night by Holly Black (5/3)

Reputation does look really good. I’ll be curious to see what people think as they start reviewing it.

It does look like fun! The cover really caught my eye– I’ve been trying to request fewer books, but this seemed like a good one to try. 🙂
I can´t wait for Where the Drowned Girls Go to arrive!
I just got home from work and found my copy here waiting for me! I’m so excited!! (I’m in the middle of another book, so I can’t start it today… but it’ll definitely be my next book to read!)
Ooh I just asked where mine was, they said if it is not here by Friday to ask again then..
Book of Night has been a very popular pick this week! I hope you like it.

Thank you so much! I loved the last several books I’ve read by Holly Black, so I’m really excited for Book of Night.
Great list! I love the sound of One Italian Summer, sounds like the perfect read for when the weather gets warmer.
Doesn’t it make you want to travel? I’d love a vacation to anywhere at this point, but spending the summer in Italy sounds just perfect.
One Italian Summer is one I’ve been eyeing as well. enjoy
Thanks! I hope you get to it as well, and enjoy your spring reading!
Nice list–One Italian Summer and Tokyo Dreaming look interesting.
I’m excited for both! Tokyo Dreaming is a sequel to a book I really liked (Tokyo Ever After), so I’m really looking forward to it.
Book of Night is getting all the love and hype, I’m so excited😁
