Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026.
I have a huge list of upcoming new releases that I’m planning to read. Between ARCs and preorders for books by favorite authors, I’m in no danger of running out of reading options!
As always, it’s difficult to narrow down the list to just ten. Here are some of the books I’m really looking forward to, with release dates between now and the end of June. (I could probably add another ten… but I’ll save those for another day!)

Listed in order of release date:
- Love Me Tomorrow by Emiko Jean (2/3/2026)
- The Harvey Girl by Dana Stabenow (3/5/2026)
- The Book Witch by Meg Shaffer (4/7/2026)
- The Name Game by Beth O’Leary (4/7/2026)
- We Burn So Bright by TJ Klune (4/28/2026)
- Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune (5/5/2026)
- The Shippers by Katherine Center (5/19/2026)
- An Ordinary Sort of Evil (A Rip Through Time, #5) by Kelley Armstrong (5/19/2026)
- Dolly All the Time by Annabel Monaghan (5/26/2026)
- Obstetrix by Naomi Kritzer (6/9/2026)
Which upcoming new releases are you most excited for? Do we have any in common?
If you wrote a TTT post, please share your link!

I’m so curious about We Burned So Bright.
I almost always love books by this author, and this sounds like another great one!
I enjoyed The Shippers! I gave up on O’Leary after Road Trip. I’ll eagerly wait for your review!
I’m glad you enjoyed The Shippers! I’m waiting until closer to the release date, but I have high hopes, since I pretty much always love her books. 🙂 I wasn’t super impressed with O’Leary’s last book (or the one before), but besides The Road Trip, I really loved The No-Show, so I keep hoping for another hit!
Hope it’s a good read for you!
Wow Kelley Armstrong writes fast! I haven’t started the Rip Through Time series yet, and I can’t believe it’s already in book 5 whilst she’s also been consistently releasing Rockton books! I’m also looking forward to the new Beth O’Leary book.
Kelley Armstrong is amazing! It seems like she comes out with about 4 books per year (and she’s so consistently great). The Rip Through Times are really worth diving into if you have a chance (and I”m planning to start her Haven’s Rock books soon!)
A new book from Beth O’Leary sounds good.
She’s one of the authors who make my “anticipated” list pretty much every year!
Looking forward to some of those for sure.
I’m glad! There are always so many new releases to get excited about!
I’m looking forward to the new Katherine Center!
Her books are always so enjoyable!
One Perfect Storm is one I am very excited for too. I love that cover since purple is my favorite color! I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them. 🙂
The cover for One Perfect Storm is amazing! I try to really keep my physical book buying under control, but I’m so tempted to buy ALL of Carley Fortune’s books for my shelves… they’re so pretty!
I 100% think you should. haha. I’m going to be the worst influence since I have a literal library in my house. They are stunning though and look so so pretty on the shelves. Although, I have paperbacks of her first three so I need to wait for that with this new one… Maybe. lol
I’m looking forward to reading The Name Game this year.

It does sound really good!
The Book Witch and The Shippers made my TTT list this week, too. Oh, and The Name Game! I’m looking forward to all of those. 😀
So many books to look forward to! I’m excited for The Book Witch — I loved her previous two books!
I’m looking forward to reading the next Beth O’Leary and TJ Klune. I got a little burned out on Katherine Center, but hopefully her next one will be great.
I hope so! That’s actually how I was starting to feel about Beth O’Leary’s books (did not love the last one), but I have high hopes for The Name Game!
The Shippers and The Book Witch were popular today. Hope you get to read all these, Lisa. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! There are so many exciting books coming out this year — it’s hard to keep up!
The Book Witch looks so good! I’ll have to check it out 😊.

I really loved the author’s previous two books, so I have high expectations!
We Burned So Bright is one of the books on the second half of my list, it sounds utterly devastating which is really calling to me for some reason 😂 I love the sound of Love Me Tomorrow too and definitely hope to try something by Beth O’Leary soon. I cant believe how many exciting books are on the horizon. I hope you enjoy all of these.
Thank you! Love Me Tomorrow was a pretty recent addition to my TBR — I really enjoyed this author’s previous books, and I think it sounds like so much fun!
I’m hoping to read Obstetrix, We Burned So Bright and The Book Witch for sure. I’m also curious about the new Katherine Center book. Looks like lots of good reading ahead😁
I just hope I can keep up! Obstetrix sounds really disturbing, and for whatever reason, it’s really calling to me!
I’m surprised I haven’t seen more mentions of the new Beth O’Leary in today’s TTT posts! I hope you enjoy it and all the other books on your list 🙂
Thank you so much! I definitely won’t run out of great reads… although I may run out of time 🙂
I can’t wait for the Klune book!
Same! It’s one of the few books I’ve already preordered in hardcover.
AN ORDINARY SORT OF EVIL is on my list this week, too! The A Rip in Time series is one of my very favorites. I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

It’s such a great series! I’m finding that I can count on loving whatever I read by Kelley Armstrong 🙂
The Carley Fortune book is on my radar as well.

Her books are always so good!
The Book Witch made my list too! I hope we both love it. I also need to catch up on my Kelley Armstrong books – I’m so behind.
I loved Meg Shaffer’s previous two books, so I’m really looking forward to the new one! I’m excited for the new Kelley Armstrong book on my list, but meanwhile want to binge her Haven’s Rock series 🙂
I actually skipped the Rockton series and jumped right into Haven’s Rock. 😅
Well… maybe you’ll go back to Rockton at some point to see how it all started!
That’s the plan. 🙂
Great selection! I can’t believe I didn’t mention the new Meg Shaffer on my list.
It’s one of the ones I’m really looking forward to — I loved her two previous books!
I’m very much looking forward to The Name Game! Always exciting when there’s a new Beth O’Leary book in the works 😍
I agree — I always look forward to her new books!
