Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Releases of the Second Half of 2020.
I’m so excited for all of these! Since I just did a summer TBR post a couple of weeks ago that included a bunch of new releases for June through August, today I’m focusing on books coming out in fall to early winter. And the scary thing is, most of these are being released in September. How will I possibly have the time to read them all?
- A Killing Frost (October Daye, #14) by Seanan McGuire (release date 9/1/2020)
- Anxious People by Fredrik Backman (release date 9/8/2020)
- The Ghost Tree by Christina Henry (release date 9/8/2020)
- The Trials of Koli (The Book of Koli, #2) by M. R. Carey (release date 9/15/2020)
- Piranesi by Susanna Clarke (release date 9/15/2020)
- Well Played (Well Met, #2) by Jen DeLuca (release date 9/22/2020)
- A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik (release date 9/29/2020)
- The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher (release date 10/6/2020)
- Over the Woodward Wall by A. Deborah Baker (release date 10/6/2020)
- The Once & Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow (release date 10/13/2020)
Are you planning to read any of these? What new releases are you especially excited about for the 2nd half of 2019? Please share your links!
I just finished and eARC of Anxious People and absolutely loved it! I hope you do too!!
That’s great to hear! I’m really looking forward to it.
Ooh, The Ghost Tree sounds good!
My TTT .
I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read by this author so far, so I have high hopes!
So many good ones! I still need to read Well Met. It has been sitting on my shelves for far too long!
I’m just finally reading Well Met right now, but it’s so cute, so I’m sure I’ll want to read the sequel too. 🙂
Great list! I need to catch up on the October Daye series. 😀
I’m so in love with it. I actually have the ARC for the new book, but I’m making myself wait until closer to release date, and meanwhile, I’ll reread the previous book too. 🙂
Good job! Anxious People made my list, too.
I’m guessing Anxious People will be a bestseller!
Easy this year! We’re all ANXIOUS PEOPLE!
Well… I wasn’t planning on reading any of those.. but …
lol
My TTT
So many books… I just can’t keep up.
So many exciting books still to come! A deadly education sounds very good!
My post!
I’m excited for it! I’ve only read one of her books (Uprooted), but I loved it.
Anxious People looks really good!
I’ve enjoyed the books of his I’ve read so far, so I have high hopes for this one too!
I forgot about a neew Backman book. I like his previous work.
Me too! Which ones have you read?
A Man called Ove and Britt Marie was Here. I loved Ove. I heard they made a movie but I haven’t seen it.
Ove was so good! And I saw the movie too, and really enjoyed it. I still need to read Britt-Marie! I read Beartown also, and loved it.
Well Played seems to be a favorite right now! Happy reading! xo
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s the follow-up to Well Met, which I’m listening to right now — it’s lots of fun!
Such an amazing list! I have review copies of six of these, so you know I approve😁
Haha, me too — I wonder if we have the same six!
I haven’t decided yet if I want to read Over the Woodward Wall… I loved Middlegame, but just not quite sure what I thought of that aspect of it. I wasn’t that keen! On the other hand, Seanan McGuire is usually amazing…
She really is — and I hear you about Middlegame. The story within the story was probably the least interesting part to me (although I loved the book), but at this point, I have faith that anything SM writes will be worth reading. 🙂
I really want to check out deadly education and anxious people. And Once and future witches is one of my most anticipated reads for the second half of the year!! 😀
I’m so looking forward to Once & Future Witches — I loved Ten Thousand Doors of January!
Me too!
Amazing research… ❤ ❤
Spirituality Awakening
I’m dying to read Clarke’s upcoming book!
Lauren @ Always Me
Me too! Although thinking about it makes me want to go back and reread Jonathan Strange too!
A Deadly Education is definitely on mine! I thought I had a bunch of others but they were all early 2021.
I have a bunch pending already for 2021. Time is going by so quickly!
