Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Books On My Summer 2020 TBR.
Some of these are new releases, some are books that I already own and just need to make a priority this summer. And I’m embarrassed to say that one of these books was on my summer 2019 TBR list, and I just never got to it.
- Peace Talks (Dresden Files, #16) by Jim Butcher
- The Unkindest Tide (October Day, #13) by Seanan McGuire (a reread, but hey– I need to be ready for #14 in September!)
- Time After Time by Lisa Grunwald (my book group’s pick for July)
- The Relentless Moon (Lady Astronaut, #3) by Mary Robinette Kowal
- Blood of Elves (The Witcher series) by Andrzej Sapkowski
- Shades of Milk and Honey (The Glamourist Histories, #1) by Mary Robinette Kowal
- Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer (I know, I know…)
- Alice by Christina Henry
- Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton
- Bookish & the Beast by Ashley Poston
What are you planning to read this summer? Please share your links!
Shades of Milk and Honey! Hope you enjoy reading it 🙂 Happy reading!
My TTT
I actually read it when it first came out, but never ended up reading the rest of the series. I’ve been talking about going back to it for years now, and I really want to make it happen finally!
Bookish and the Beast has been on tons of lists this week.
My TTT .
The first two books in the series were such fun. Should be a great, light summer read!
I hope you get to all of them and love them!
My post!
Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to them all!
Great list! Shades of Milk and Honey is such a quick read, definitely a good choice for summer reading. I hope you enjoy all of these!
I excited to finally commit to Shades of Milk & Honey — I actually read it when it first came out, but I want to do a re-read so I can read the rest of the series.
Great list, I hope you’ll be able to get to all of them! 😊
Thank you! I’m excited to read them all… just hope I manage to get through the list!
Amazing list! Hope you enjoy them!❤😜
Thank you! I hope you have some amazing reading ahead this summer too. 🙂
Love seeing Hollow Kingdom! And I just read Bookish and the Beast, it was a lot of fun😁
The Ashley Poston books have been so much fun so far — really looking forward to the new one. And I’ve been dying to read Hollow Kingdom since it came out, and now I actually have a copy, so I”m making progress. 🙂
Great list, you’ve reminded me of some of the books I could have added to my list this week 😀 I want to read the Witcher series, and Alice, and I bought Shades of Milk and Honey recently as it sounds like a nice mix of historical and fantasy.
I love the cover of Bookish and the Beast too. So many books I want to read. Hope you enjoy all these 🙂
Thank you so much! I’m really excited to read all of these. I’ve read the first two books in the Witcher series so far (although this one is listed as book 1, since it’s the first novel — so confusing). Hope you have some great summer reading ahead!
Great list!!
Thanks! I’m excited for my summer reading. 🙂
They pushed the release date of Bookish & the Beast back to August 4th 😭 😭 Which I guess is still technically summer, but thats when it usually starts to feel like fall. 😭
I know! I’m actually glad (selfishly), because I had way too many ARCs to get through in June, and the August release takes some of the pressure off!
Nice list. Here is my TTT.

Thanks!
You are very welcome!
I’m so curious about midnight sun after all this time! And I really enjoyed bookish and the beast!
I know, I’m pretty on the fence about Midnight Sun, because it could be awful… but the inner Twilight fan in me just wants to see how it is!
Yeah I know exactly what you mean!!
