Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books on My Winter TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is about reading plans for this winter. What’s on my to-be-read list? Ha, what isn’t? Not that I ever end up sticking to a plan — but as of now, here are the top 10 books I’m looking forward to reading during the next few months.

 1) Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.
It’s about time that I finally read this, right?

    • I’ve heard great things too! I’m scheduled for a discussion post with another blogger about this book for January, so I’ll need to stay on track — but I’m looking forward to it!

    • I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by a Chris Bohjalian book — but I’m so glad to hear that so many people really enjoyed The Light in the Ruins! I’m reading it with a book group in February, but even without the group, I want to read it anyway. 🙂

    • Oh, I know, I’ve been so delinquent about Mistborn. I swear, I’m really going to make it happen! I’m really excited about all of these books… now I just need to stick to a plan for once. 🙂

    • I’ve been wanting to read it for a while, and it looks like my book group will be discussing it this winter, so maybe I’ll finally get around to it. 🙂 Thanks!

  1. Noggin has such an interesting premise. I definitely want to read that, but I need to be in the right frame of mind beforehand.

    • I know what you mean — do I need one more series to get involved with? But I keep hearing such raves about Mistborn that I feel like I need to at least give it a try!
