I love this concept! What fun to look back at past years and see what books were in my hands! Based on my Goodreads history, I was able to get a pretty good idea of what books I was reading at this time for each of the last 10 Augusts.

So many years of reading… so many great memories! I’d completely forgotten about some of these — it’s nice to get a reminder, and to see the variety of genres and topics I’ve read over these last ten summers.

Great list (and thank goodness for Goodreads, lol)! I haven’t read any of these but I do have The Road Trip and Thank You for Listening on my TBR. I’ve heard the audio for TYFL is amazing and I can’t wait to give it a go 😍
Audio is definitely the way to go for TYFL, since the main character is an audiobook narrator and Julie Whelan does the narration!
I need to catch up on James S.A. Corey.
I loved the Expanse series so much! For the book here, I know I really enjoyed it, but then when the sequel came out, I never ended up being in the mood to continue. I probably should try to get to it… but I’d need a major refresher on the 1st book at this point.
Great list, I enjoyed How to stop time, it doesn’t seem to get that much attention.
That’s true, I don’t seem to hear people mention it nearly as often as some of his other books, and I remember really loving it. I should probably do a reread!

Good list! I’ve only read Road Trip and it was my least favorite of her books. I’ll look into a couple of the others.
A lot of people seem to feel that way! I liked it a lot, but perhaps not as much as my favorites (which would include The No-Show for sure).

October Daye remains one of my favorites! In fact, I still intend to reread the last book in the series so I’ll be fully ready for the new one in September!

I’ve read a lot of Center’s books, but not this one! I think her older books might be better than her newer ones. I liked Before the Fall a lot. I need to read the new Corey series.
I need to keep going with the new Corey series! I gave the 1st book (the one listed here) 5 stars, and then somehow never found myself in the mood to pick up #2. I’m trying to read the few remaining backlist books by Center that I’ve missed — I think I only have a couple left to read.
Loved The Mercy of Gods and Thank You for Listening! I read Midnight Sun and struggled with that one. I think it’s because my reading had changed so much from the time I read the OG series! Before the Fall is one that I read while I was on a plane. haha! This is what happens when you don’t read the blurb beforehand. lol

Susanna Kearsley’s books are amazing! I especially loved Mariana and The Winter Sea, but really, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of her books.
