Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Books I Can’t Believe I’ve Never Read.
My picks this week include a classic I should have read by now and a bunch of books that have been sitting on my shelves for way too long.
In no particular order, my top 10 are:

1. David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
2. Venetia by Georgette Heyer
3. Vicious by V. E. Schwab

4. Moloka’i by Alan Brennert
5. Hemlock Island by Kelley Armstrong
6. Lilith’s Brood by Octavia Butler

7. Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
8. Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
9. Pat of Silver Bush by L. M. Montgomery
10. Sorcery & Cecelia by Patricia C. Wrede
Do you see any here that you’d particularly recommend?
If you wrote a TTT post this week, please share your link!
Lilith’s Brood was a wonderful read.
I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her, and know that I want to read this series! I need to make it a priority.
I’ve read Vicious, Spinning Silver and Firefly Lane from your list, and enjoyed Firefly Lane the most.

Great to know! I’ve loved Kristin Hannah’s later books, and have been meaning to get to Firefly Lane!
Moloka’i by Alan Brennert had been on my shelf for years. I read it late last year and was so glad I did. It is very good.
I’m glad to hear it! I’ll be in Hawaii in a few months, so perhaps I’ll save it to read while I’m there!
Perfect! I think I bought it when I was in Hawaii about 15 years ago!
Spinning Silver should have been on my list too.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
I’ve had a copy of Spinning Silver for years now! I really need to make a point of reading it this year.
Vicious! That’s probably my favourite Schwab book after Addie LaRue. 😍
That’s fantastic to hear! I loved Addie LaRue!
I haven’t read any of these either although Hemlock Island is on my Want to Read list.
I’ve been really binging on Kelley Armstrong books in the last few years — I think Hemlock Island is the only one of her stand-alone horror novels that I haven’t read!
I’ve read Firefly Lane and if I remember it was very emotional.
I’ve heard such good things about it, and I know I enjoy her writing!
Fab list! I loved Vicious by VE Schwab, hope you do too!
I’m excited to finally read it — I just need to push myself to pick it up!
Vicious was sooo good! I need to review the first two books before the third one comes out.
Oh, there’s a third on the way? I guess I”d better get going! 🙂
I’d recommend Vicious. That was a gripping read.
I’ve heard such good things!
This was a fun topic for TTT, kind of sad I missed it now haha. I want to try Georgette Heyer, I’ve heard such great things about that author! I actually haven’t read any of the books in your list either but quite a few are on my tbr as well 🙂
Georgette Heyer is so much fun!
I’m so glad to hear that 🙂 !
I’ve only read Vicious of these, which I really enjoyed. With a third book now coming out this October, I might actually do a reread of the series… Firefly Lane is one I’ve been meaning to read for ages.
I guess with a 3rd book on the way, I’d better get started!
MOLOKA’I is a really good one. I haven’t read the sequel yet, though. One of these days!
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!

Glad to hear you enjoyed Moloka’i! And I do want to read Honolulu by the same author as well.
Vicious would be one of mine too, I really need to hurry up and read the series before the new one releases. I also love the sound of Hemlock Island and have it on my TBR and don’t know how I haven’t gotten to Spinning Silver either. Some of the other authors I want to try sometime too, although I don’t know what I’ll read by them first. I hope you enjoy all of these whenever you get to them. For some reason I always thought David Copperfield wasn’t overly long and once I saw the page count it scared me 🙈 I love a chunky fantasy tome but thick classics make me nervous.
I hear you about thick classics! I’ve had good luck with some long ones by reading with the Serial Reader app, which makes long books feel really manageable. (That’s how I finally read Moby Dick!)
Ah I think you may have mentioned that app to me before. I’ll have to give it a try if I get brave enough to try any of the especially lengthy classics. Im glad it helped you tackle Moby Dick. How did you find that one?
I’m glad that I experienced it… but parts are really hard to get through (like seemingly endless chapters about different kinds of whales).
You’re going to LOVE both Vicious and Spinning Silver!
I’m sure I will! I was excited for both back when I picked up copies… just need to find time to finally dive in!
