Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Goals for 2026 (Bookish or not! Share your reading goals, personal goals, etc.).
Since I already shared my bookish goals at the start of January, I’m going rogue! Today’s TTT post is essentially part two of last week’s list (my most anticipated books for the first half of 2026). This week, here are even more upcoming new releases to look forward to! After all, I felt bad leaving some of my top choices off the list last week…
Here we go — EVEN MORE new releases for the first half of 2026:

Listed in order of release date:
- Anne of a Different Island by Virginia Kantra (1/20/2026)
- Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett (2/17/2026)
- A Ghastly Catastrophe (Veronica Speedwell, #10) by Deanna Raybourn (3/3/2026)
- Where the Girls Were by Kate Schatz (3/3/2026)
- Butterfly Effects (Incryptids, #15) by Seanan McGuire (3/10/2026)
- Once and Again by Rebecca Serle (3/10/2026)
- Love by the Book by Jessica George (4/7/2026)
- Cherry Baby by Rainbow Rowell (4/14/2026)
- Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth (4/21/2026)
- Take Me with You by Steven Rowley (5/19/2026)
Are any of these book on your TBR? Which sound good to you?
And since I went off-topic this week… if you wrote about bookish goals, please share your link! I’d love to see thoughts and intentions about the year to come.

Are you not reading Dresden anymore? The new book came out today!
Well… I’m not NOT reading Dresden! It’s been so long since the last book that it’s just not particularly high on my priority list, but I guess I should put in my library hold request (and then see if I can remember where the story left off!)
Oh it was pretty memorable book but you got time. I just started reading and it’s definitely a different vibe
I’m really looking forward to reading Cherry Baby, I loved Slow Dance.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
Same here! I loved Slow Dance (and want to reread it eventually), and I’m really excited for Cherry Baby!
Thanks for sharing these with us. I’m looking forward to several of them.
I’m not sure how I’m going to keep up! But I guess having too many books to look forward to is not a bad problem to have 🙂
I’m glad you posted a part 2! I’m very curious about Cherry Baby, and of course I’m also excited for Agnes Aubert😁
I’m going to need more reading hours per day to keep up with all of these! 🙂
Anne of a Different Island sounds adorable. I’m currently rereading the original series and may have to read that title afterwards.
I’d love to reread the originals! What a lovely series.
I’m hoping to read the Heather Fawcett book (cats!) and I love Rainbow Rowell. I posted today about my goals: https://thebookstop.wordpress.com/2026/01/20/my-reading-goals-and-challenges-for-2026/
Both books look great!
I just finished Anne of a Different Island!
I hope you liked it! I’m starting it next!
I enjoyed it. Kantra is a trusted author!
I really liked her Little Women retellings!
I’ve only read one book by Heather Fawcett, but I want to read more. I love that cover. Thanks for sharing your list!
Her Emily Wilde books are so good! I’m really looking forward to starting this new one. Thanks for stopping by!
Agnes Aubert is one I can’t wait to read!
It looks so cute!
I enjoyed MAD MABEL a lot. A new Veronica Speedwell book is always something to get excited about (even though I’m way behind in the series). I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Mad Mabel! I’m excited for the new Veronica Speedwell, although I’ll definitely need a refresher on where the story left off. Thanks for stopping by!
I’m excited for Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter too! I hope you’ll love all these books when you read them 😊.

Thank you! So much to look forward to — now I just need time to read them all!
I’m excited for the cat shelter book!
I think that’s going to be one of the next ones I start!
I have A Ghastly Catastrophe on my list too.
It’s such a great series! Although I’m definitely going to need a refresher on the last couple of books.
Yeah, you’re right. Although, that’s probably true for most series I read.
Great selection! I’m probably most excited for Mad Mabel and Once And Again.
I’m a little on the fence about Once and Again, to be honest — her books have been a little hit or miss for me, but I’m willing to keep trying!
I’ve only read two so far and I enjoyed those… I’m behind with her most current books though.
