Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Bookish Wishes, with the prompt: List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!
When wishlists come up as a TTT prompt, I typically don’t share a link… but what the heck! I’ll jump in with my Amazon wishlist this time around. Really, I’m not terribly comfortable asking people for anything! Mainly, I’m posting this to say — here are books I want to get my hands on… and here’s hoping the Library Hold Fairy works her magic and gets them to me quickly!

Featured authors:
- My Friends by Fredrik Backman
- Writing Mr. Wrong by Kelley Armstong
- Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V. E. Schwab
- Every Summer After (deluxe edition) by Carley Fortune (yes, I’ve read this one already, but I’m dying over the gorgeousness of this new edition!)
- Pronoun Trouble: The Story of Us in Seven Little Words by John McWhorter (to satisfy my inner grammar geek)
- The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater
- Overgrowth by Mira Grant (I read this already as an ARC, but feel like I NEED a hardcover edition for my shelves)
- The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow (not due out until the fall, but I’m already waiting for it!)
- Battle of the Bookstores by Ali Brady
- The Names by Florence Knapp
What books are you wishing for right now?
If you wrote a TTT post, please share your link!
I’m wishing you luck!
Thank you! Sooner or later, my books requests will show up at the library 🙂
The Listeners is on my list as well!
I haven;t read one of her books in a long time, but I do like the sound of this one!
I finished My Friends this week and loved it. I hope to read The Names soon. I hope the library fairy works some magic for you.
Thank you! I’m excited for My Friends — I always enjoy his books.
I’m really looking forward to The Listeners, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, and Over Growth as well.
It’s hard to resist new books by authors who are so consistently great!
I may break down and buy Bury Our Bones, although I’ve seen mixed reviews so I’m not sure what to do…I hope you’re able to get your hands on these!
Oh, I think I’ll give in and buy that one before too long! Just holding out for a Kindle double-points day… unless my library hold comes in first! (The NY Times just gave it a very favorable review, by the way…)
I’m anxiously waiting for Battle of the Bookshops and Overgrowth myself. 😀
Overgrowth was great! And I just today got an ARC of Battle of the Bookshops, but I think I’m going to first see if my library has the audiobooks, since that’s how I’ve enjoyed all the other Ali Brady books!
Such a great line-up! The two books I’m probably most excited about are the new Backman and Schwab… I hadn’t heard about The Everlasting before, so that’s going straight to my wishlist.
I really want to get my hands on all of these! I need many more hours in the day if I want to keep up 🙂
Some of these are on my TBR too. I’m especially excited for the V. E. Schwab book.
It looks so good! Can’t wait for my library request to come in!
