Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Covers with [Item] on the Cover (You choose the item! It can be anything at all.)
Last time this topic came up for a TTT post, I went with books on the cover… and this time I’m doing books with bookstores on the cover. So, yeah, I’m not particularly thinking outside the box here!
Without further ado, my bookstore book covers are:

- Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan (review)
- The Bookshop of Second Chances by Jackie Fraser (review)
- The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan (review)
- The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
- Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree (review)
- 84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff
- The Bookshop of the Broken Hearted by Robert Hillman (review)
- The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald
- Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa
- Better Than Fiction by Alexa Martin (review)
Yes, that’s three by Jenny Colgan! What can I say? Her bookshop books are hard to resist!
I’ve read all of the above except #6 and #9, and both are on my to-read list.
Do you have any great books to recommend with bookshops on the cover?
What was your cover topic this week? If you wrote a TTT post, please share your link!
(4 Charring Cross Road is one of my favourite books. You will love it. I would add, The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. It’s one of my top 3 books I read this year.
Oh, I’ve heard that one is good! Thanks for the recommendation!
I’ve just read 84 Charing Cross Road and loved it. Jenny Colgan is such a great choice for bookshop themed books.
I love Jenny Colgan’s books — can’t decide whether I love her bakery or bookstore books the most! I’m looking forward to reading 84 Charing Cross Road finally!
I hope you enjoy it. I loved it and it made me laugh out loud in a couple of places.
I almost did bookstores! 🙌📚
Such a fun topic 🙂
Great pick! Loved Bookshops and Bonedust!
I did too! Almost as much as Legends & Lattes!
Now I want to visit a bookshop! 🙂

Me too! Preferably a really cozy one with comfy armchairs 🙂
I only read #9 of your list. Many of these books, if not all, are pretty cozy and low stakes and I’ve learnt that those books are particularly not my cup of tea.

Tastes definitely vary by the reader! Lately, I’ve been loving cozy fiction — real life has enough stress in it!
Books with bookstores on the cover are some of my favs! 😀
Me too! Bookstores or books… or someone reading books!
Great choices, I love bookish books. I’ve read The Bookshop on the Corner and have The Bookshop of Second Chances on audible.

I really enjoyed The Bookshop of Second Chances — hope you do too!
I’m going to look them up. I loved 84 Charing Cross Road. All of her books are wonderful. The movie of the same name was fabulous.
I can’t wait to read it, and then maybe watch the movie too!
I did covers with bookshelves on them, so a very similar topic. I couldn’t come up with anything more original, but that’s okay, I love me a bookish book! Great list.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Bookish books are the best! 🙂
I love this idea! All of these are so cozy, a feeling I (and many others) really need today.
Yes… cozy is definitely what I need right now!
This is a really fun idea! So many beautiful covers. I love the covers for Better than Fiction and The Bookshop of Second Chances, I have to note the names down 🙂

Both were really good books, as well as having great covers! 🙂
