Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Books with Names/Character Names In the Titles. I did something similar for a freebie TTT topic several years ago (here), and although it’s tempting, I’m not going to repeat any for today’s list!

- Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren (review)
- Gwendy’s Button Box by Richard Chizmar and Stephen King (review)
- Cousin Kate by Georgette Heyer
- How the Penguins Saved Veronica by Hazel Prior (review)
- Princess Floralinda and the Forty-Flight Tower by Tamsyn Muir (review)
- Dava Shastri’s Last Day by Kirthana Ramisetti (review)
- Beth & Amy by Virginia Kantra (review)
- Velveteen vs the Junior Super Patriots by Seanan McGuire
- Fat Chance, Charlie Vega by Crystal Maldonado
- Naomi & Ely’s No Kiss List by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
What books made your list this week?
Please share your link so I can check out your top 10!
Beth & Amy looks interesting!
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-character-names-in-the-titles/
It’s (pretty obviously) a contemporary retelling of Little Women, actually #2 in the series after Meg & Jo. Both were really entertaining!
I’d forgotten about Cousin Kate! Great lost🙂
*list. Sorry I’m horrible at typing on the phone
Ha ha, I try to avoid typing on my phone whenever possible — I’m terrible! I haven’t read Cousin Kate yet, but I think it’s going to be my next Heyer book.
😁
There are so many titles that fit this category, aren’t there? I am loving seeing everyone’s twist on the topic. How the Penguins Saved Veronica is one I have been wanting to read someday. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks! The penguin book was so much fun! I know there’s a sequel too, but I don’t think it’s available in the US yet.
Josh and Hazel! What a fab read that is! Lovely list 👌
Thanks! I think Josh & Hazel may have been my first Christina Lauren book — I remember how much I enjoyed it!
It was so funny! I really need to dona reread!
Fun TTT list! I think I have to read How the Penguins Saved Veronica. 😀
It’s such a good book! It’s my 2nd that I’ve read by that author, and both were really enjoyable.
The only book I’ve read on this list is ‘Princess Floralinda and the Forty-Flight Tower,’ which I enjoyed. I didn’t see that ending coming! My cousin Ryan was actually in the movie version of ‘Naomi and Ely’s No-Kiss List.’

Oh wow, I didn’t even know there was a movie of Naomi & Ely — yay for your cousin! That’s exciting. I really enjoyed Princess Floralinda, and I agree, what an ending!
I found this to be a fun, easy prompt! I didn’t realize there were so many titles with names😁
When I starting scribbling down a list, I came up with way more than would fit on a top 10 list! 🙂
I forgot about Beth & Amy and Meg & Jo! Great list!
Thanks! I really enjoyed both of those books — it was fun to see the modern take on Little Women.
Fun reads for sure! 🙌
Good list, all new to me. My daughter has recommended Christina Lauren’s books to me but I haven’t read one yet.
I’ve read a lot of the Christina Lauren books at this point — they’re so much fun!
Awesome list, Lisa! I need to read Princess Floralinda!
It’s such a great story! I have a feeling I’ll be rereading it. 🙂
