Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Releases of the Second Half of 2021. I just recently did a top 10 list of my summer TBR, which included mostly new releases, so I’ll attempt not to repeat myself!

Ooh, When Sorrows Come looks good!
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-most-anticipated-books-of-the-second-half-of-2021/
I love the series so much — I really can’t wait!
All good picks! I can’t wait for my copy of the new Outlander book thou 😁
OMG yes, dying to get my hands on it!
I’m away to read book 8 soon so I’m all up to speed for it 🙂 I LOVE the series, it’s so immersive.
My book group (Outlander Book Club) is doing a group re-read of #8. It’s so much fun to dive back in and revisit the characters and the story — and a good reminder of where things left off. Can’t wait for #9!
Under the Whispering Door is one I want, I preordered it yesterday!
I have an ARC, but I should probably order a hard copy to sit on my shelf next to The House in the Cerulean Sea! I love the covers of both books.
I’m soooooo jealous! Enjoy!
Thanks! I’m waiting until closer to the release date to read it… enjoying the anticipation. 🙂
Yeeeees!
I’m excited to read ‘My Heart is a Chainsaw!’ 🙂 I’ve read three of this author’s books (‘Mapping the Interior,’ ‘Mongrels,’ and ‘The Only Good Indians’) and I think he has an amazing imagination.
I’ve only read The Only Good Indians so far, but it sounds like you’d recommend the other two!
Yeah, ‘The Only Good Indians’ was actually my least favorite of the three I read. ‘Mapping the Interior’ was the best.
Great to know — I’ll check it out!
Ohhh an Outlander book is coming out this year! I didn’t realize! A Spindle Splintered looks amazing. Great list!
I’m SO excited for the new Outlander book. It’s so hard to wait!!!
A Spindle Splintered has my curiosity piqued!
I hope you enjoy your reads when you can read them.
Here’s my post: https://readbakecreate.com/?p=441
Thanks so much! There are so many great books coming out in the next six months — it’s going to be hard to keep up!
so many great choices here! well matched looks fun.
It’s the 3rd in a trilogy set at a Renaissance Faire — the first two were really light and fun.
i’ll look forward to it
Oooo A Spindle Splintered looks intriguing!
These are the books I am most excited about reading in the next few months!
I’ve read the author’s previous two books, and loved them both!
Great list! I really need to get back to the October Daye series.
I love those books so much! And I think something MAJOR should be happening in this next one. Can’t wait!!
We have some of the same books on our list, I’m so excited for The Book of Accidents!
Me too! I’ve been wanting to read more Chuck Wendig since reading Wanderers last year. I think I need to dive into his backlist as well as reading new releases!
A Spindle Splintered looks good as does the TJ Klune. I must try the Simon Snow books at some point, I think I actually liked those stories better when reading Fangirl than the book itself.
I really liked Fangirl, but yes, I was very into the Simon Snow bits, and have really loved the Simon books! I’m rereading #2 right now, and it’s just delightful.
Must pick them up sometime; I didn’t dislike fangirl but I wasn’t somehow as enthralled as many others were.
I keep seeing ‘Under the whispering doors’ on most posts. Off to add it to my TBR. Thanks for sharing your list.
I loved the author’s previous book, and can’t wait to read this one!
Well Matched is at the top of my list. I hope you can enjoy many of your picks. Happy reading. Have a great day.
I’m so excited for Well Matched — the first two books were so much fun!!
Great list! I’m probably most excited about Under The Whispering Doors and A Spindle Splintered although all of them sound great.
I’m so excited for both of those as well — I’ve loved the books I’ve read by these authors so far!
Oh wow, such exciting books!! now to find the time to read all that’s shown here🙄
That’s always the problem, isn’t it? Too many books, not enough time!!
I didn’t know about the new Outlander book – thank you, Lisa!
You’re welcome! I’m basically counting the days!!
Oh yes, I’m looking forward to so many of these too. We have so many great looking books to look forward to – and that Klune cover is just gorgeous.
Lynn 😀
I agree, I love the cover! It’ll look so perfect next to my copy of the House in the Cerulean Sea!
I need The Book of Accidents and My Heart is a Chainsaw.

I’m reading The Book of Accidents right now, and it’s been soooo good so far! Hope you enjoy these all when you get to them.
I’m excited to read it — glad to hear you’re enjoying it!!
Ahhhh there is a new Outlander book?? i still need to read them but love knowing about it. Also i seen the inside of Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell so goregous.
The Outlander books are so amazing! And I agree, the Rainbow Rowell books are so gorgeous (and so much fun to read!)
I really need to pick them up, they truly are.
