There isn’t a theme set for September (or at least not as far as I’ve seen)… so I’m choosing my own. Since September is traditionally the start of the school year (although where I live, school already started up again in August), my theme for this month is books with a school setting.

These are great, Lisa! I just thought of another (very old and dated) book Up the Down Staircase by Bev Kaufmann. Have you heard of it? Of course, it wouldn’t fit into your September acrostic – maybe June or July – haha!

Fitting choice of theme for the month. I’ve somehow never read any of them. Although I did see at least some of the adaptation for The Magicians and really want to get to Etiquette & Espionage, Wayward Children and Picnic At Hanging Rock in particular, although a few others are on my TBR too.
I really liked The Magicians adaptation! It veered off a lot from the books, and in some ways was even better. Etiquette & Espionage is silly and a lot of fun, and I love the Wayward Children books!
