Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is about our spring 2026 reading plans.
I did a quick scan of my winter TBR post… and was surprised to see that I didn’t do quite as badly as I’d thought! Of my 10 winter TBR books, I actually read five and DNFd one. I do still want to read these remaining four books…

… but I’m not sure when. Let’s just say that I’m going to try to get to these sometime this year — because at the moment, between ARCs and book group books, I feel like I’m “booked” solid.
Earlier in the year, I shared a post on my most anticipated new releases for the first half of 2026 — all of which remain books I’m eager to read (or have read already!). I’m including a few below, as well as a bunch of others… because I’ll never run out of books that I want to read.
Here are the top 10 books I’m planning to read this spring — mostly new releases, but also two books from series that are high priorities for me:

- The Name Game by Beth O’Leary
- Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune
- Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor (I can’t wait to finally start this series!)
- The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman
- We Burned So Bright by TJ Klune
- The Book Witch by Meg Shaffer
- Dolly All the Time by Annabel Monghan
- Cherry Baby by Rainbow Rowell
- Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth
- Love by the Book by Jessica George
What books will you be reading this spring? Do we have any in common?
Share your links, and I’ll come check out your top 10!
I love the cover of We Burned So Bright.
Me too! And the author is one of my favorites — I’m really looking forward to it!
We have Cherry Baby in common , I’d also like to read We Burned So Bright.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
Both look so good!
I did not include them on my list (and I don’t know why) but I’d like to look for The Name Game and Mad Mabel.
I’m excited to read them both!
I enjoyed the Ackerman book! History of Stanford I wasn’t aware of. I think you’ll like Dolly!
Excellent to hear about the Ackerman book! I’m looking forward to Dolly too — I’ve liked everything by Annabel Monaghan so far!
I’m looking forward to Love by the book too. Hope you enjoy your picks
It sounds like such a good one! Thanks, I hope you enjoy yours too!
Mad Mabel was fascinating. I too am super excited for Our Perfect Storm!

I’m glad to hear that about Mad Mabel! I’ve loved everything by Carley Fortune so far, really looking forward to Our Perfect Storm!
I have a copy of the Klune book and I’m very much looking forward to it. I also like the look of the Osman book.
Lynn 😀
I’ve really been enjoying the Osman series so far! I have a flight coming up next week, and I’m saving the next in the series to read on the plane. 🙂 I can’t wait to start the Klune book too!
Can’t wait for We Burned So Bright!
Me too! I love his books.
Maybe it’s a sign you haven’t picked up Our Summer Storms yet, it’s for the warmer seasons 🙂 It’s still on my TBR as well.
Our Perfect Storm is one I’ll be on the lookout for as well and Mad Mabel seems to be on multiple lists this week.
Hope you’ll enjoy them all!

Good point, maybe I should save the summer storms for summer!
The Book Witch and We Burned So Bright will be on my list once I write it up! Spring looks promising 😁
Yes it does! And as always, I feel like I have way more books to read than time to read them all in!
I have so many Spring ARC’s that I did not have enough room for Love By the Book and Our Perfect Storm! I’m excited for both of those too. We Burned So Bright was an amazing read!!
That’s great to hear! I’m so excited to read it (and all the others too!)
I’m a big Sally Hepworth fan, and I loved MAD MABEL! I hope you do, too.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I was going to wait until closer to the release date… but Mad Mabel looks just so good that I don’t think I can hold off that long! 🙂 So glad to hear you loved it!
Several of these are new to me. Maybe I should try Beth O’Leary again–I loved Flat Share and The Switch but then my hope died with Road Trip and the next didn’t work for me either. The Name Game is a maybe
I enjoyed The Road Trip, but not the most recent (Swept Away)… but overall, I have a pretty good track record with Beth O’Leary books, so I’m looking forward to this new one.
