Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is Cozy Reads. Cozy fantasy is having a moment, but there are so many other types of cozy books too.
I tend to think of cozy fiction as anything with a focus on cuteness, baked goods, restoring an old building, settling in a small town, bookshops, cats… you get the idea!
Here are my top ten:
- A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna (review)
- Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree (review)
- The Keeper of Magical Things by Julie Leong (review)
- The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald (review)
- The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst (review)
- Jane of Lantern Hill by L. M. Montgomery (review)
- Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea by Rebecca Thorne (review)
- Mandy by Julie Andrews Edwards
- Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan (review)
- The Vintage Village Bake-off by Judy Leigh (review)
What cozy books made your list this week? If you wrote a TTT post, please share your link!

The Spellshop looks so cozy. Thanks for stopping by earlier.
It’s absolutely cozy, and just offbeat enough to make it feel really fresh and different.
Mandy makes me want to know more about it.
It’s by Julie Andrews!! My daughter and I read it together when she was younger, and we both loved it. Makes me think I should do a reread!
Little Beach Street Bakery is a good book. I did a book review on that book. I thought it was cute. The Spellshop looks like a good one. I added The Enchanted Greenhouse to my TTT. Have a good week. Here is my TTT. https://dmhoisington.wordpress.com/2025/10/21/top-ten-tuesday-6/
Thank you! The Spellshop really was great — I think I preferred it to The Enchanted Greenhouse, but both are so sweet and enjoyable.
Ah, the Tome and Tea, and Spellshop were ones that I struggled with. I felt like they were too sweet for me… and I don’t know what that says about me. haha! I have had the Mandanna book on my TBR though! I really want to get to it now. Great list!!
Thank you! One of the things I loved about the Mandanna book was that it had cozy elements but never teetered over into the “too sweet” category. I can see why you felt that way about the books you mentioned. I enjoyed the first Tome & Tea book, less so the 2nd, and I’m on the fence about continuing.
That’s great!! Okay, I’m going to keep the Mandanna book on my list. I actually liked the third Tome and Tea the most. It has a bit more action… I have struggled with that series though. I met the author and loved her!! It’s hard when I struggle with her books though.
That’s awesome that you met the author! Although I know it’s hard to meet an author who’s amazing when you didn’t actually love their book. I’m glad to hear that you liked the 3rd book — I’m hoping to read it before the end of the year.
I hope you like it more than the second if you do!! I still need to read the 4th one because that’s the one that is signed. haha
Ohhhh I wouldn’t think of Little Beach Street Bakery immediately, I associate that book with summer. Funny how books can be interpreted differently! I still need to read The Spell Shop though.

I feel like Little Beach Street Bakery came out way before people were describing books as cozy… but when I started thinking about books with an emphasis on food and cute places to live, that book definitely came to mind!
Love those first three on your list! 😀
They’re all so good! Although I think I probably should take a break from cozy fantasy soon… I”m in danger of overdoing it 🙂
Everyone seems to love Spellshop but I really didn’t. I wanted to so bad but felt it was too slow. Legends and Lattes I loved however.

This is a very cozy list, and I’m happy to see a cupcake on one cover😁 The Spellshop is a favorite of mine!
Can’t resist a good cupcake! Hmmm, I sense a freebie TTT topic in my future — books with amazing baked goods on the cover!
Great selection! I can’t wait to read Sangu Mandanna’s newest.
I hope you love it! I thought it was terrific.
Fab list! Legends and Lattes is such a cozy read!
It really is! I hope to start the 3rd book in the next week or two 🙂
