Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is April Showers, and the prompt is books with rain on the cover/in the title, that have rainstorms in the story, or that have anything to do with rain.
I gave it a shot — here are my rain-related books for April!

- Scattered Showers by Rainbow Rowell
- Rainwater by Sandra Brown
- Fifty Words for Rain by Asha Lemmie
- Nothing But the Rain by Naomi Salman
- Sheltering Rain by Jojo Moyes
- The Umbrella Academy by Gerard Way
- Black Rain by Masuji Ibuse
- Red Earth and Pouring Rain by Vikram Chandra
- In Mercy, Rain by Seanan McGuire
- A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin**
**Not only does the title kind of fit (hey, it has storms!), but this is also the Game of Thrones book that introduces the song “The Rains of Castamere”!

I love your choices today! I almost had that Rainwater by Sandra Brown cover on my list today. I was going to add it, but picked another book instead.
This was a tough one! I read Rainwater years ago with my book group — I remember we all really liked it.
Love all the rain titles you found! I didn’t even try this one this week.
This one was challenging! I was trying to stick with books I’ve read… but in the end, I included two from my TBR list too. 🙂
I love your list! You’ve got so many titles here that I am unfamiliar with.

Thanks! It’s always fun to put together a list based on words in the title. 🙂
This was sort of a tough prompt! I could only find about 4 rain related books, but you listed some good ones😁
It was tough, I agree! I tried to only include books I’ve read, but ended up “cheating” a bit and including two from my TBR list — only way for me to get to 10!
I love a good rainy/stormy setting and cover! Nice list.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Thanks!
I don’t know if you read it or not but, The Umbrella Academy is nothing like the show.
I agree — I read volume 1 after watching the first season, and didn’t care for it at all.
