Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is about our spring 2024 reading plans. There are so many amazing books to choose from — it’s hard to narrow it down to just ten. But I’ll give it a try.
Here are 10 books I’m especially looking forward to this spring:
- The Good, the Bad, and the Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto
- The House That Horror Built by Christina Henry
- The Guncle Abroad by Steven Rowley
- Disturbing the Dead by Kelley Armstrong
- Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs
- Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan
- Just For the Summer by Abby Jimenez
- Against the Darkness by Kendare Blake
- The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren
- The Return of Ellie Black by Emiko Jean
Please note: This is my last post for about a week or so, as I’ll be offline with family. I look forward to seeing everyone else’s spring reading plans when I get back!
What books will you be reading this spring? Share your links, and I’ll come check out your top 10!
Enjoy your break!
Thank you!
I haven’t seen that book by Emiko but do own one of her fairytale novels, which sound really fun. Now I’m curious about this novel, too! Happy spring TBR-ing.
I’ve read her two Tokyo books plus one more, and loved them all. This is a different genre, but I know her writing is terrific!
We both have an Emiko Jean book on it 🙂 Enjoy your time with family!

I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her so far, so I have high hopes! Thanks!
A great looking list! I enjoyed The Good The Bad and The Aunties.
I hope that you enjoy them when you get to them!
Have a great break with your family!

My post:
Thank you! The Aunties books are so much fun — looking forward to it!
They are great. I recommend the first one all the time 😂
The House That Horror Built will be on my list too (in a couple of weeks) Awesome list, enjoy!
Thanks! Can’t go wrong with Christina Henry 🙂
I need to get caught up on the Mercy Thompson series. Thanks for the reminder!
I love that series so much! Although I think I need to reread the last book before starting this one… it’s been a while!
I hope they’re all awesome!
Thank you!
I loved Just for the Summer. I think it’s my new favorite of Jimenez’s. I hope you love it!
I can’t wait to read it! Jimenez was new to me as of 2024, but I’ve read two of her books so far, and loved them both.
I’m not familiar with any of these books but I hope you enjoy them.
Adding that Kelley Armstrong to my tbr, but I guess the first book of the series. Sounds excellent and I need to read more from her.
Fab list, enjoy your reads!
I love the Mercy Thompson series! It is a must read for me! Here is our <a href=”https://www.longandshortreviews.com/miscellaneous-musings/top-ten-tuesday-books-on-my-spring-2024-tbr/“>Top Ten Tuesday.</a> Thank you!

Enjpt your break! I plan on finishing the Codex Alera series, then maybe Scholomance, I’m sort of winging it right now. I may have to jump back on to Mercy Thompson at some point too
Hi Lisa – thanks for sharing your upcoming reads. Although I haven’t read these, I have seen a few around the library and have been curious. Looking forward to seeing what you thought 🙂 Have a great week off!
It is always hard for me to narrow my To Read list down to just 10! I have both Winter Lost and Just For the Summer on hold at my library and can’t wait for them to come in, though I probably won’t get them until summer. Enjoy your week! 😀
Great list! I’m so keen to try Jimenez’s books!! And the good the bad and the aunties looks fun too
