Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, featuring a different top 10 theme each week. This week’s topic is about our spring 2021 reading plans. So many great books to look forward to! Here are ten I’m especially excited for:
1) Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs: The 6th book in the Alpha & Omega series. Releases today — can’t wait to get started!

2) There There by Tommy Orange: A book group selection for this spring.

3) The Fall of Koli by M. R. Carey: The final book in the trilogy. I loved the first two — so excited for the conclusion!
4) Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock: A new collection of connected stories set in Alaska, by the author of The Smell of Other People’s Houses (one of my favorite books!).

5) The Lighth of the Midnight Stars by Rena Rossner: I loved her debut novel, The Sisters of the Winter Wood.

6) Maggie Finds Her Muse by Dee Ernst: Looks like a sweet contemporary romance!

7) The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia: I’m so looking forward to reading more by this author.

8) The Bookshop of Second Chances by Jackie Fraser: A bookshop? In Scotland? Yes, please!

9) The Album of Dr. Moreau by Daryl Gregory: Sounds too weird and amazing to miss.

10) One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston: The upcoming new release from the author of Red, White & Royal Blue. This one sounds just as sweet and adorable.

Great list! I enjoyed The Beautiful Ones (the new cover is so lovely) so I hope you do, too!
Thanks! I didn’t actually realize that The Beautiful Ones is a reissue — but that’s okay, since I’ve only read Mexican Gothic so far and really want to read more of her work.
I’ve never read Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock before but I liked the idea of Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town so it’s on my pre-order list. I do have a review copy of The Fall of Koli but I struggled a bit with the first one so I’m not sure if I’ll read any more.
If you get a chance, I really recommend The Smell of Other People’s Houses! It’s a short novel, but so lovely and powerful.
Nice genre mix, Lisa💜
Thanks! I need to mix things up, or I end up frustrated and bored, no matter how good the books might be.
I hope you enjoy these! I really want to read The Beautiful Ones!
My Top Ten
Thanks! I’m excited for The Beautiful Ones!
Everyone Dies in a Small Town is such a great title! I hope the book is just as good!
I agree, I love the title! I have such high hopes for the book itself. 🙂
I’ve been wanting to read The Book of Koli! I always eye it at the bookstore when I Go but I never pick it up. I should just get it! I hope you enjoy all your reads 🙂

I really loved the first two Koli books — can’t wait to see how the story wraps up!
I hope you will enjoy all of these! The Beautiful Ones is also on my list!
My list!
Thanks! I’m excited to dive into all my spring reading!
I’m so excited for The Beautiful Ones too! Great list!
It does look great!
I recently started Maggie Finds Her Muse. I wasn’t feeling the first chapter, but I was in a mood when I started it.
Hope you have better luck with it though.
Thanks! I love having something light to break up more serious reads, so timing may be everything when it comes to starting this book. 🙂
I’m very much looking forward to the Midnight Stars and currently reading the final Koli book and enjoying it so far.
Happy reading.
Lynn 😀
I’m starting the Koli book this coming week – can’t wait!
