What it’s about (synopsis via Goodreads):

Why I want to read it:
I love historical fiction (usually), but the time and place of this book are new to me in terms of where I’ve “traveled” already through fiction. The description really caught my eye… and so did the gorgeous cover!

I haven’t read many books set in South Africa, historical or otherwise. I really enjoy historical fiction when I read it. I like the sound of this one, and can see why you want to read it. Thanks for sharing (and hosting!).
