Yeah, I can relate. There are certain parts of Voyager that I’m really looking forward to seeing on the screen!
I haven’t read the books, but could I ask a couple of questions? Is season 3 going to be so rapey? I really liked the story overall but was very disturbed by the amount of sexual violence. Also if she goes back will she be the age she is in her normal time or will she go back to the age she was when she left?
Based on the book (Voyager), I’d say that there’s little or no sexual violence (that I remember), although plenty of other types of violence (battle scenes, etc). To answer your 2nd question (spoiler!), Claire is the age she is — she can only move forward in her own timeline, so when she time-travels, she’s always living her current life at her current age.
