I got the ARCs for Defending Taylor and You Know Me Well also. I love both of those authors so I am super excited. Happy reading! Here is my top ten list: http://bookbinges.blogspot.it/2016/03/top-ten-tuesday-spring-tbr.html
I love them both too, and I’m so excited about the ARCs! I binged on Miranda Kenneally’s 3 earliest book last month, so now I’ve read them all and I’m ready for the new one. 🙂
Oh I want Highly Illogical Behavior so bad ever since I saw it on NetGalley!
It does look great, doesn’t it? I’m really looking forward to it!
Yes, it sounds so good!
I’ve seen Fellside and The Fireman for a few times now… hmmm. 😀
I love Joe Hill, and I thought The Girl With All The Gifts was great, so these are two I”m really excited for. 🙂
Yay! Happy reading! 😀
My Best Friend’s Exorcism sounds quite intriguing and dark. Just read the blurb. I think it’s a book I would like. Have also read the Blurb on Every Heart A Doorway, sounds interesting. Thanks for the link; I now have some new releases to add to my TBR.
Here is my TTT: https://dwgitau.wordpress.com/2016/03/15/top-ten-tuesday/
🙂 Every time I read someone else’s TBR list post, my own TBR list grows! I read the previous book by the author of My Best Friend’s Exorcism, and it was such a good combination of humor and horror – can’t wait for the new book.
Oh man! Give me Pride and Prejudice retelling any day. I’ve never heard of Eligible, but it’s totally going on my TBR. Great list! 🙂
Thanks! I’m really looking forward to Eligible — I’ve been reading The Austen Project books as they’ve been released, and this one sounds like it’ll be great.
I’m looking forward to Eligible, too. I think that will be a great spring/summer read. I’ve had The Girl with All the Gifts on my TBR forever, it seems–I didn’t realize the author had a new book! So behind!
It’s never too late! 🙂 The Girl With All The Gifts is so goooood…
Pumped up with Fireman. I’m also looking forward to Christina Henry’s Alice for a darker fairytale retelling. Better start saving up soon hahaha
I know what you mean — but thank goodness for libraries! I’m getting much better at borrowing vs. buying. 🙂
I really want to read Every Heart a Doorway: the premise sounds great, and I love the cover art ❤ Oooh, At the Edge of Summer looks wonderful! I still have yet to check out Letters from Skye from the author–more incentive I guess to get around to both, haha. Great list, Lisa, I hope you enjoy reading all of these books! 😀
Thanks! Letters From Skye was really good — looking forward to her new book.
Great list, Lisa! I can’t wait for Every Heart a Doorway, and I’d like to read My Best Friend’s Exorcism and Ghost Talkers, too. 🙂
Oh goodie, we’ll have to compare notes on all these books! 🙂
Can’t wait to read your thoughts on The Fireman! Just finished that one this past weekend. Am planning on starting Fellside when I get out of work so this is pretty much the longest day ever. lol
I’m waiting on The Fireman until publication date, because I’m treating myself to a hardcover (I love Joe Hill’s books!). So excited to read it! And I’m really excited for Fellside too — looks like you’re beating me to both. 🙂
This looks like a good variety of reads. Looking forward to your reviews. I the Every Heart a Doorway cover!
Meant to say “like” the Every Heart a Doorway cover!
🙂 I think the cover is what pulled me in for that one too, but once I read the synopsis, I knew I needed a copy!
Oooh these look so good! I’m really interested to see what M.R Carey’s new book is like.
I can’t wait! The Girl With All The Gifts was so good!
Yes to Eligible (I’m always wary of retellings but figure I’m in safe hands with Sittenfeld).
You know, I’ve never read anything by Sittenfeld (although I feel like I should have by now) — so I’m hoping Eligible is a good place to start!
But if it turns out to be not so good, don’t write her off. Read Prep and then decide.
Thanks for the tip! Yet another book for the TBR…
I only found out about Fellside a few days ago but I’m already so excited for it because I loved The Girl With All The Gifts. I hope it’s as good as that.
I’d never heard of The Fireman so went to look it up and now that’s one I’ve got to add to my TBR because it sounds like exactly the sort of story I love 🙂
Can’t wait for Fellside! 🙂 Have you read anything else by Joe Hill? Everything he writes is so, so good.
I’ve not read any Joe Hill at all so far, but will have to check out some of his work. Do you have any recommendations? 🙂
Well, they’re all good (and so, so scary!!). NOS4A2 is amazing. His first book, Heart-Shaped Box, is really terrifying. And his graphic novel series, Locke & Key, is great too!
I’ll have to check them out as well as the new one. My TBR list is going to be massive 😀
