I was just reviewing my open orders with Amazon, and realized that my pending pre-orders are out of control! Well, not really out of control, considering that I WANT ALL OF THESE BOOKS NOW — but I certainly have a lot coming in the next few months.
Here are all the books I’ve pre-ordered, due to arrive any time from next week through March, 2014 — and this doesn’t include another handful of pre-release books I’ve requested from the library or all of those lovely review copies I have yet to read.
I guess I don’t have to worry about running out of reading material any time soon.
Are you waiting for any of these? Which are you most excited about?
Written in my Own Heart’s Blood! YES. Very excited about Dangerous Women too. And loooved The Shining Girls. And of course more Fables! YAY! I still have a few before I’m fully caught up in the series but I’m still excited knowing there’s more to come. 🙂
Well, Written in My Own Heart’s Blood is definitely the one I’m most excited for!! And the silver lining of having to wait until March for it is that it gives me enough time to re-read Echo in the Bone before then. I’m so glad you’re loving Fables!! Isn’t it amazing?
Wow that sure is a lot of pre-orders. Happy reading 🙂

Well, I do get a bit carried away sometimes… Thankfully, my friends and family know that an Amazon or bookstore giftcard is always appreciated! 🙂
Wow, that IS a lot of pre-orders! I’m happy to see so many graphic novels – although I read most of my comics from the library instead of buying them, I love to see people who do! The only book I have on pre-order is Holly Black’s The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, because I really liked her Curse Workers trilogy and I love vampires!
Fangirl looks quite intriguing, it’s been on my radar for a while now… It’s also nice to know that Curtsies & Conspiracies is coming out, though I’m not sure if I’m going to pick it up any time soon, I didn’t love the first book like I loved Carriger’s Parasol Protecorate books. I’ll perhaps check these two out from the library.
I didn’t really love Etiquette & Espionage either, especially in comparison to the Parasol Protectorate series. Still, I feel like I want to stick with the series and see where it goes, since I love Gail Carriger’s writing so much! I hope you enjoy The Coldest Girl in Coldtown — I keep hearing about it (and that’s one I’ll probably get from the library). I do love my graphic novels! There are a few series that I’m crazy about (especially Fables), and I just can’t resist having them here on my shelves to go back to whenever I want. Thanks for stopping by! I know I get a bit carried away with ordering books, but the nice thing is that I can always cancel if I change my mind by the time the release date rolls around!
I’ve read the first 7 or 8 Fables trade paperbacks, but I think the story seemed to be slowing down a bit from the great start – I’ll still continue with it.
Also, it’s really nice to see Willow getting her own book, I’ll have to check that out sometime! She’s my favorite character from Buffy.
Oh, definitely go back to Fables! There’s plenty of awesomeness still to come! The Willow book is a spin-off from Buffy season 9 (which I’m a little behind on). I’ve been letting my Buffys and Angels pile up a bit — but it’s time to catch up!
Doctor Sleep!
I know! I’m wondering if I should take the time to re-read The Shining first.
Well if you do… http://wp.me/p2ZSql-gX
Oh, that’s fantastic! I’ll do my best to join in!
Well of course….. I’m waiting verra patiently for Written in My Own Heart’s Blood – can’t wait !!!!!!!
Of course! Although it’s awfully hard to be patient… but at least I have until March to clear my reading calendar so I can settle in with WIMOHB with no distractions!
