If you’re like me, you probably find yourself annoying friends and family by reading random quotes out loud. Or do you chuckle to yourself in relative silence, then insert millions of scraps of paper in your books every time you find a passage that you love? Or maybe you go the high-tech route and highlight the heck out of your Kindle books. Whichever way you go about it, you know you’re just dying to share the good stuff with other people who love books.
Introducing: Thursday Quotables! Each week, I’ll be sharing a line or two from whatever book I’m currently reading. Whether it’s something funny, startling, gut-wrenching, or just really beautifully written, Thursday Quotables is where my favorite lines of the week will be.
This week’s Thursday Quotable:
Being a consummate professional means doing your job when you don’t want to, so I sucked it up and pasted on a huge smile when the camera light blinked and Robin introduced me as America’s Angel of Pop and the girls screamed like they were getting atatcked and I got ready to give answers in Auto-Tune mode, where they sound right but have nothing behind them.

Hmmm very interesting. I am not a quoter. I am useless with quotes. I never remember them correctly and always mess them up. But this, this I might manage. I mean what is to stop me from pulling out the book and getting it right, right? I think I shall join. Are you gonna be linky linkying?
Oh, I’m not a big one for memorizing “important” quotes! But I do get insane urges to highlight just really good lines that pop out at me, so thought I’d invite everyone else to share too. Do you think I should do a linky? Or just rely on people linking up via comments if they want to?
Maybe’s just try it out first without the linky and see how many people participate by commenting on yours? If you get a huge feedback then give it a go with the linky.
